First Time Ever!
When is the last time you did something for the first time?
Does this question reveal the need for more firsts in your life? Has your day-to-day become too routine? System are great, but they are supposed to set you free to create, not stifle growth.
Do you have lots of firsts these days? Perhaps it’s revealing the fact that you’re experience a high level of change, variety and growth 🙂
Do you have too many firsts? Perhaps it’s revealing the need to buckle down and follow through.
Perhaps it took you a moment to recognize the firsts in your life, and you’ve noticed that it’s not that you don’t have them, it’s that you could get better at celebrating them?
Today, I challenge you to create some firsts in your life. Often firsts don’t have the be the first time doing something, but the first time doing it in a new/better way. For example, you may meditate daily, and today you can meditate for 1 minute longer than ever before. That’s a first! Congrats.
Here are some ideas:

- Try a new food or restaurant (or create your own meal not on the menu)
- Or…don’t eat today and experiment with fasting
- Start a new tradition
- Listen to a new station
- Business owners: Market in a new way
- Drive down a new road
- Play a new game
- Quit something
- Sit in silence
- Be patient where you typically freak out!
